GAWI does not store your manuscripts. Data leaks and unauthorized AI training usually happen because of "temporary file logs" left on cloud servers during processing. What is GAWI?
GAWI resizes your large manuscripts to each platform's spec, slices them, and numbers them in order — work you used to do in separate steps — all from a single drag of your file. It's a companion tool made to give creators back even a few minutes to stay immersed in their work. ('GAWI', 가위, means 'scissors' in Korean.)
Are my manuscripts uploaded to a server, or used to train AI?
No. Slicing, thumbnailing, and ZIP packaging all happen inside your browser, and your images are never sent to GAWI servers or anywhere else. Because there is no upload at all, your manuscript cannot be stored anywhere or used as AI training data. Even unpublished work stays private.
Which platforms are supported?
Our goal is to support every major platform across Korea, Japan, and the rest of the world — and we're updating continuously toward it. Today we already cover Naver, Kakao, Lezhin, Toptoon, and Bomtoon (Korea), plus Piccoma, LINE Manga, Comico, and Mechacomic (Japan), with a custom-size option too. Which file formats are supported?
Upload JPG and PNG manuscripts directly (the Thumbnail Cutter also supports WEBP). Add a single image, several at once, or many images bundled in a ZIP — images inside a ZIP are unpacked and processed automatically.
What does the Thumbnail Cutter do?
Set the center point and zoom once, and it crops thumbnails for multiple platforms with different aspect ratios at the same time, all around the same center.
